Good radial access to thebearing location is required.• Extraction <strong>of</strong> inner rings <strong>and</strong>complete <strong>rolling</strong> bearings withoutdamage is possible with properh<strong>and</strong>ling.FunctionThe three extraction plates arepushed, by means <strong>of</strong> alternatelyscrewing in the nuts, between theshaft shoulder <strong>and</strong> inner ring. Theseparating device is screwed ontothe extraction plates using three tierods.If the extraction <strong>for</strong>ces are directed through the <strong>rolling</strong> elements, the<strong>rolling</strong> elements <strong>and</strong> raceways could be damaged.Use <strong>of</strong> a three-section extraction plate prevents damage because the<strong>for</strong>ces act on the tightly fitted inner rings.30
