No. B1/1598/2007 dt: 13-8-2007.* * ** ** ** **Among others, Sri Koneru Ranga Rao, Land Committee in itsRecommendation No. 1.5 has recommended that the Assignment ofGovernment land wherever available to the landless poor for agriculture purposeshall be granted within (3) months from the date of receipt of application forassignment as per the rules in force.In the G.O. first cited, Government have accepted (74) recommendationsof Sri Koneru Ranga Rao Committee, including Recommendation No. 1.5 anddecided that land assignment should be given top priority at District & Mandallevel. Periodical review shall be done at the level of District Collector and ChiefCommissioner of Land Administration, A.P., Hyderabad.The proposal in respect of Recommendation No. 1.5 submitted by theChief Commissioner of Land Administration, A.P., Hyderabad, in his letter 2 ndcited, has been examined and Government hereby direct that the procedure ofassignment of Government land as stipulated under BSO 15-B shall be followedstrictly Government also prescribe a time limit of (3) three months for assignmentof Government land from the date of receipt of application of the petitioner and58
