It is an exceptional area ofnatural beauty, with three distinct geological zones, which are reflected in the variety of landscape, soils, floraand fauna found in a relatively small area. Recognized for its exceptional biodiversity, in 1984, this NationalPark was also designated a World Biosphere Reserve.AccommodationThe Eagle’s Nest Centre is situated at 1314m — about the height of Ben Nevis! While we are in the south ofFrance, we can experience quite variable weather conditions at any time of the year.Girls and boys will have separate rooms in separate buildings and will be placed in rooms of 6 or morestudents. The centre has a number of rules, which will be explained to the students on their arrival. They willbe expected to help clear the tables after each meal, keep their rooms tidy and be in their rooms and be quietat 23:00.
