Activities and links with MYPThe aim <strong>of</strong> the Grade 9 trip is to create team building activities covering the MYP curriculum through twomajor subjects, which are geography and science. Students will be divided in groups and will undertake riversand sewage studies. During this week, an evening is also planned to help students with their future PersonalProject.Different entertainment will take place so that our Grade 9 students become a strong team <strong>of</strong> friends!Please find below a full list <strong>of</strong> things to pack.What to Bring• Comfortable clothes and underwear (sufficient for 5 days), for both cold and warm weather• Only one suitcase (that you can carry)• Waterpro<strong>of</strong> items (ideally jacket and trousers)• Warm jacket (eg. fleece-type)• Comfortable, solid walking shoes (sports shoes or hiking shoes) + wellingtons if you have them• Warm clothing — lots <strong>of</strong> layers• Sunhat + sunglasses• Sunscreen• Personal medication if you are coach sick, inhalers, etc.• 1 or 2 towels and toiletries• A water bottle• Night clothes• A rucksack• Some spending money (maximum 50 Euros) (tuck shop on site to buy drinks/biscuits)• Camera for art students• ISP badge to be identified at the train station• Mobile / MP3 for the train• Note book + pencil case• Tee-shirts in case <strong>of</strong> sunny weather• Hat + gloves+ Lunch (to eat on the outward bound train)This is a school trip and therefore school rules will be applied. No mobile phones or music players are allowedduring the day. Phones can be used in the evening and music players will be tolerated only on the train andthe bus. However, all such items will be carried at the students own risk and the school will not be responsiblefor any losses that may occur.
