Please note that all MYP field trips leave <strong>Paris</strong> on Monday, September 22 and students will return onFriday, September 26.Parental PermissionTo participate in the field trips, all students must sign and return the MYP Field Trip Permission Form, whichcan be found at the end <strong>of</strong> this document. It can also be downloaded from the Parent Portal <strong>of</strong> the ISPwebsite. Please return this form to Ms. Hilda Tormos in Beethoven 6 no later than Monday, September 15.Students who do not return the permission form before this date will not be able to join their field trip.Health, Medication and DietThe school will check that we have each student’s current medical form, and this will allow us to ensure thateach child’s health and safety are paramount. It is most important that parents/guardians notify us if thereis any information not included in our records; this might include any recent change in your child’s health(such as the development <strong>of</strong> an allergy) or any recent or current prescription for medication.• Medication Grades 6-8: On the day <strong>of</strong> the trip, parents/guardians <strong>of</strong> any student taking medicationshould pass the medication, in a clear plastic bag with the child’s name clearly visible, to the TeamLeader. A copy <strong>of</strong> the prescription must be included.• Medication Grades 9-10: Parents/guardians <strong>of</strong> any student taking medication should inform theTeam Leader, in writing, <strong>of</strong> the details <strong>of</strong> the medication and the prescription. The Team Leader or theparent/guardian has the discretion to ask that the school look after and administer any medication.Should a student have any special dietary requirements, they should include the information on the Field TripPermission Form.Valuables and MoneyStudents should not bring any items that are valuable, irreplaceable, fragile, or unnecessary: items <strong>of</strong> thisnature (including music players, cameras, game consoles) are brought at the student’s own risk. Allstudents will need a little spending money. However, please do not bring more money than advised by yourteam leader, and certainly do not bring bank or credit cards.Clothing and EquipmentYou will find included a list <strong>of</strong> recommended clothing and equipment: it is most important that you read thiscarefully, and ensure that you are well-prepared for the field trip. Parents will be asked to verify thattheir child is properly clothed and equipped for their trip.End <strong>of</strong> Trip: Student DismissalPlease ensure that you are available to collect your child on September 26 when the trip returnsto <strong>Paris</strong>. When each trip returns, students will only be released into the care <strong>of</strong> their parent or guardianunless the attached Release Form has been completed, signed, and returned to the Team Leader.If parents/guardians do not return this form, we will expect them to collect their child(ren).Please note that our trips will return in the later afternoon and into the evening <strong>of</strong> September 26.
