He has always been there tocheer along with me and also topick me up and give encouragementwhen any challenges arose.I held my fir<strong>st</strong> show at the end ofAugu<strong>st</strong> of 2010. While at that show,I booked six additional shows,two of which were scheduled asIntro shows. With the amazingho<strong>st</strong>ess offers and the unbelievablebusiness opportunity, the gue<strong>st</strong>shad a hard time finding a reason tosay "no." From these initial shows, Iconsi<strong>st</strong>ently worked toward reachingany goal that <strong>Park</strong> <strong>Lane</strong> set, knowingthat if I was reaching those goals, mypersonal goal of promoting to theSenior Division level would happen.Although I had been working in thedirect sales indu<strong>st</strong>ry for nearly 6 years,I <strong>st</strong>ill needed to learn a lot aboutleadership development. No matterhow <strong>st</strong>rong my personal businesswas, I knew that I alone could onlydo so much. I had to develop otherpeople into leaders so that they couldalso be successful, but how? I turnedto Mary Grace for help. Together weworked side by side and she helpedme to <strong>st</strong>udy what being a leader trulyis. I then worked to implement whatshe taught me into my own team. I<strong>st</strong>ill have a lot to learn, but have seena lot of success by making simplechanges to my thoughts and actions.In the pa<strong>st</strong> year and a half, Ihave earned trips to all three tripde<strong>st</strong>inations, met my Super Start andSuccess Builders goals and so manymore. What I am mo<strong>st</strong> proud of,though, is that we have developed ateam of successful, business-mindedpeople that are also focused onmoving up the levels of leadershipwithin <strong>Park</strong> <strong>Lane</strong>. I can't wait to seewhere we go from here!”

My secondchild was only two months old.Three months later, in July of 2008,we moved to a new town. Havingtwo small children and not knowingvery many people were certainlychallenges I had to overcome.However, with one party at a time,our team grew, and continued togrow.My family also grew! In April 2011,(my daughter was 5, my son was3), we welcomed another son toour family. IN THE NEWS<strong>Park</strong> <strong>Lane</strong> “Sundancing” in <strong>Park</strong> CityThe Sundance Film Fe<strong>st</strong>ival in <strong>Park</strong> City, Utah, has been described as “Spring Breakin the Snow for celebrities”. As we learned, however, it’s not all fun and games forthe <strong>st</strong>ars. Directors and actors follow a tight schedule of interview appointments topromote their featured Sundance film and upcoming projects. Their hectic agenda didnot, however, prevent the <strong>st</strong>ars from <strong>st</strong>opping for a piece of <strong>Park</strong> <strong>Lane</strong> jewelry!The draw of our jewels was mighty and powerful! So much so, the world-renownedAssociated Press photographers needed to have a heart-to-heart with Arthur andTara. It seems that our jewelry was di<strong>st</strong>racting the celebs from making their appointedrounds for their photographs!<strong>Park</strong> <strong>Lane</strong> was the “mo<strong>st</strong> popular” spot in the AP FenderMusic Lodge.
