On a game inwhich three injured Rockets returned to the lineup, <strong>Toledo</strong>smashed Miami, 49-28, in its annual Homecoming game atthe Glass Bowl.Back in the lineup for <strong>Toledo</strong> were senior RB AdonisThomas, junior LB Dan Molls and junior safety JermaineRobinson. Thomas broke free for a 67-yard rush on his firstcarry since breaking his arm vs. Syracuse on Sept. 24. Mollswas in the lineup for the first time since the season openeron Sept. 1 and had five tackles. Robinson, who missed onegame with a broken arm, finished with three tackles andtwo pass breakups.Regardless <strong>of</strong> the lineup, <strong>Toledo</strong> looked in peak form.The Rockets held a 35-7 lead at one point in the first half,led 35-14 at intermission, and coasted from there.The running game was especially sharp. <strong>Toledo</strong> outgainedMiami on the ground, 269-14. Senior Morgan Williamsled the rushing attack with 84 yards and two touchdowns,followed by Thomas with 80 yards and one scoreand sophomore David Fluellen with 66 yards and a TD.The defense shut down Miami’s running game andforced three turnovers before allowing two meaninglesstouchdowns late in the game. Senior cornerback DesmondMarrow led UT with six tackles and tied his career highwith two interceptions.GAME NOTESUT moved to 4-0 for the second-straight season and has won 11<strong>of</strong> its last 12 conference contests...UT recorded 497 yards <strong>of</strong> total<strong>of</strong>fense, posting its third-highest output <strong>of</strong> the season...The Rocketsfinished with 269 yards rushing and 228 yards passing...TheRockets posted a decisive 269-14 edge over Miami in rushing...UT held the RedHawks to 0.7 yards per carry...The defense hadseason-high five sacks for 57 yards...Senior RB Morgan Williamsran the ball 17 times for a game-high 84 yards and a pair <strong>of</strong> rushingTDs.
