Superintendent’s Recommendation:Item NumberThat <strong>the</strong> School Board <strong>of</strong> <strong>Seminole</strong> <strong>County</strong> adopt <strong>the</strong> 2009-2010 Staffing Plan Guidelines aspresented.2. Background/Analysis:The 2009-2010 Staffing Plan Guidelines continue <strong>the</strong> methodology that was originally approved by <strong>the</strong>Board in 2001. Modifications have been made to comply with <strong>the</strong> Class Size Reduction Amendment.Once approved, <strong>the</strong>se guidelines will serve as <strong>the</strong> basis for future staffing allocations. Any proposedadjustments to <strong>the</strong> guidelines for <strong>the</strong> 2010-2011 <strong>school</strong> year will be brought forward to <strong>the</strong> Board forapproval during <strong>the</strong> budget planning process in <strong>the</strong> spring <strong>of</strong> 2010.3.
