Superintendent’s Recommendation:Item NumberThat the School Board of Seminole County approve the modifications to the employee calendars toestablish a 4-day work week from Monday, June 14, 2010 – Thursday, August 5, 2010.2. Background/Analysis:The School Board implemented a four-day work week in 2007 as part of its energy conversationprogram. Superintendent’s Recommendation:Item NumberThat the School Board accept the School Internal Accounts Audit for the fiscal year ended June 30,2009 and that the Audit be ordered filed as part of the public record.2. Background/Analysis:State Board Rule 6A-1.087(2) requires the School Board to provide for an audit of the school internalaccounts on an annual basis. The Board contracted with the firm of Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, L.L.P.to audit the school internal accounts for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009.The report includes a list of specific findings at each school.We are pleased to note that no material findings were noted in the audit.3.
