Projections to Meet the Federal ProposalsThe 20% RESRequirements under the 20% RES for a federal renewable energy portfolio standard areshown in Table 15. The 20% RES percentages are listed in the table. The percentages are takenof the prior year’s electricity sales. Under the 20% RES, 25% or less can be met with energyefficiency credits. Therefore, in the table, the percentages adjusted for the 25% energyefficiency credits are calculated. These adjusted percentages are used to calculate the millionkWh required under the 20% RES. Shown in Table 15, by 2025, the 20% RES would require anadditional 42,901 million kWh.Table 15.
