(STATISTICS)INFORMATIONThis option is for students who would like to become involved in the fieldof economic and/or econometric or statistical research for financialinstitutions, public institutions, insurance companies or stockbrokers.Sound computer and numerical skills are essential requirements for thisoption.The core subjects for this degree are Statistics and Economics, withEconometrics as an option in the third year.Accounting must be taken up to second year level.CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSIONRefer to the General university admission regulations as well as theFaculty admission regulations.TIMETABLE CLASHESStudents must compile their curriculums in accordance with the classand lecture hall timetable and the examination timetable, and arepersonally responsible to ensure that there are no clashes.CURRICULUMStudents registering for the degree B.Com.
