Thermodynamics, electricity andmagnetism are covered in this semester. Lecture andlaboratory. Prerequisite: PHY-162.PHY-184 Applied Physics, 4 cr.The course will develop the mathematical and analytical techniquesrequired for making accurate computations in appliedphysics. Lecture and laboratoryPractical NursingPNN-662 Practical Nursing II, 7cr.Practical Nursing II continues to examine the concepts of humanneeds, the nursing process, and caring. The roles of thepractical nurse as (1) provider of care, (2) coordinator of care,and (3) member of the discipline of nursing will continue to bediscussed by exploring disease processes and human needs ofthe adult and older adult.PNN-663 Practical Nursing III, 4 cr.Practical Nursing III completes the practical nursing student’sexploration of the concepts of human needs, the nursingprocess, and caring. The roles of the practical nurse as (1)provider of care, (2) coordinator of care, and (3) member of thediscipline of nursing will be concluded by exploring the areas offamily nursing and mental health nursing.
