It’s a GUI pointand-clickenvir<strong>on</strong>ment, with syntax highlighting and other helpful features fora programmer.At the top of the editing window is a toolbar (Figure 10.4). Each ic<strong>on</strong> <strong>on</strong>the toolbar has a tooltip, a help text that pops up when you rest your mousepointer over the ic<strong>on</strong>, to explain the somewhat cryptic little ic<strong>on</strong>s. Most of thetools are quite handy. With the pulldown menu, you can navigate to anymethod or class variable within the class. The next four butt<strong>on</strong>s deal withsearching: Select any text in your source file, click <strong>on</strong> the magnifying glass ic<strong>on</strong>,and the search will be performed for the next occurrence of that text. In additi<strong>on</strong>,all occurrences are highlighted. This highlighting can be toggled <strong>on</strong> or off.
