provided by the Producer shall be knowledgeable of the different textures and stylesof hair.(J) Change of Hairstyle. The Actor may not be required to cut his hair in a mannerthat changes the hair style or shave his head, beard, mustache or sideburns, unlesshe agrees in writing at the time of signing his contract, and has been informed byposted notice at the time of the audition of such potential change. If the Actoragrees, the Producer will assume the cost of making the change and maintaining itduring the run of the production. Any stylist provided by the Producer shall beknowledgeable of the different textures and styles of hair.(K) Hairpieces and Wigs.(1) Beards and hairpieces furnished by the Producer shall be freshly cleanedwhen delivered to the Actor and cleaned thereafter whenever necessary, but atleast once every three weeks. Lace on all beards, mustaches and hairpieceswill be cleaned daily.(2) No Actor shall be required to use a wig or hairpiece, including a facialhairpiece (beard or mustache) that has been worn by another Actor until thehairpiece or wig has been cleaned and fitted. After cleaning, hairpieces must bedried and aired prior to issue to the Actor.(3) Should the Actor and Producer agree in writing to use the Actor's personalwig or hairpiece, a rental fee shall be agreed upon by the Producer and theActor, to be paid weekly to the Actor. The Producer shall be responsible forcleaning and upkeep of the wig or hairpiece during the engagement.15. COMPANY MANAGER.When the Producer employs a Company Manager the following conditions shall apply.The Company Manager shall be accessible at pre-tour rehearsals. When the Companytours as a Unit Tour or Package Tour, the Company Manager shall travel with theCompany, shall be at the hotel used by the majority of the Company at check-in andcheck-out, and shall be accessible to the acting Company at all reasonable times whilethe Company is on tour.16. CONTINUOUS EMPLOYMENT.Continuous employment of the Actor is of the essence of all employment contracts.Employment thereunder shall begin on the date of the beginning of rehearsals orrequired date of arrival, if earlier, and shall continue until terminated as provided herein,and not otherwise.17. CONTRACT.(A) Changes and Alterations. The Actor has no right or power to waive any of theminimum conditions set forth in the employment contract or other Rules without thewritten consent of Equity. Unless any and all riders, changes, alterations, waivers orsubstitutions from or under these Rules made prior to, when or after the contract ofemployment is made shall have been consented to by Equity in writing, such riders,changes, alterations, waivers or substitutions, or any part thereof, are void at theoption of the Actor, Equity consenting.
