Actor's immediate health requirements as specified in advance by said Actor,the Producer shall assist the Actor in seeking out and moving to an alternatelocation in the same price range. Such change of lodging shall not alter theProducer's obligation for the Actor's transportation pursuant to (C) of this rule.The Actor shall not make such change at any time that will interfere with arehearsal called by the Producer and any time so occupied by making suchchange shall not be counted in determining overtime.(9) When the Actor is charged an additional day's rent because of theProducer's failure to move him by checkout time on the day he leaves for hisnext engagement, the Producer shall bear the cost for the stay of the additionalday.(10) If a security deposit is required and the Producer advances the money tothe Actor, the Actor will sign an authorization agreeing to have such moniesdeducted from his last week's salary.(<strong>11</strong>) If the Actor is required to divide his place of residence into two or moreplaces due to accommodations that are not available, the Producer shall bearthe additional costs that accrue.(12) If the Actor is required to spend more than one calendar week in any oneplace, but less than a full second week, and daily rates are not available,thereby incurring additional rent beyond the actual usage, the Producer shallpay the extra cost of room rent beyond the actual usage.(13) When the Actor is charged an additional day's rent because of thetransportation schedule imposed by the Producer on the day he leaves, theProducer shall bear the cost of any additional rent incurred thereby.(<strong>14</strong>) These same rules shall apply when an Actor chooses to share a room witha non-performing member of a tour. However, the Producer is not responsiblefor locating housing for the Actor's family or guests. Should a family member,with the prior written permission of the Producer, travel with an Actor, the costof the Actor's housing and any overage required shall be what is appropriate fora single individual.(15) Housing for a Minor's parent or designated accompanying adult shallcomply with the terms specified in a rider to the Actor's contract. [See Rule 38,MINORS.] The Producer shall not be responsible for seeking or reservinghousing which will permit pets and will not be responsible for damage causedby them; said damage, if any, shall be the responsibility of the Actor with whomthe pet resides.(B) Housing Lists.(1) Unit and Package Tours. The Producer shall post an up-to-date list ofavailable accommodations on the callboard two weeks prior to each playingdate. Within three days thereafter, <strong>Actors</strong> shall indicate their preferences. Acopy of this list, with the Actor's choice noted, shall be provided to the Deputyfor everyone's information after the posted list has been removed from thecallboard. The Producer’s representative shall immediately inform any Actorwhose housing choice is subsequently determined to be unavailable so thatanother location can be selected.
