Admission-NHIPPSSingle Service Level Episode - BasicAdmission Process:Once the client has been assessed and asubstance diagnosis has been rendered, youcan create an Admission record for him or her.The Admission record is filled out at the time aclient is admitted.. .all of the SAPTA andSAMHSA required data (for NOMS) iscaptured when filling out this form.
AdmissionIt is important to be as accurate as possible whenentering information in the Admission record.This information is going to be compared with theinformation entered in the Discharge record todetermine if and how those areas identified in theNOMs have changed.This data is aggregated with the data for allsubstance abuse treatment providers and used todetermine how successful SAMHSA-fundedprograms are.The success of a state‟s NOMs can help determinehow much funding the state receives.
