Size Exclusion ChromatographyTo confirm the micelle formation SECexperiments were performed. Theseshow the change of the SEC patternof the native HA from a narrowdistribution of the molecular sizes(elution time of 13.77 min.) to thetypical bimodal pattern observed for100 mol.%-modified hexyloxy-HA,reflecting the presence of theexpanded molecules (14.53 min) andthe contracted ones (21.04 min).
