6325 SeriesPCI Express Card Edge ConnectorsDesigned to conform to PCI SIG specifications, the 6325 PCI Express Card Edge connector from AVX allows userupgrades and bandwidth support beyond the capacity of PCI Slot and AGP connectors. The 6325 PCI ExpressConnector provides 2.5Gbps data transfer rate in desktop computers, communications equipment, workstations andfactory automation systems.Available in 36(x1), 64(x4), 98(x8), and 164(x16) contact positions, all in 1.00mm pitch, the one piece, highdensity connector supports different bandwidth requirements for a 1.58mm (0.062") thick “add on” graphics card foruser upgrades.The 6325 PCI Express Card Edge connector enables hot plug and hot swap while the scalable modular designmaximizes card interoperability. All connectors support PCI Express signal and power requirements, as well as theinterface between system board and the add on card specifications, and the simple through hole design enables a lowcostboard assembly process.Different tail (contact) lengths (2.3mm and 3.0mm) are available to support differing motherboard thicknesses.Locating bosses ensure proper connector alignment to the motherboard and an ejector latch is also available for easydetachment. Tails are offset to form four rows on a 2.00mm pitch.
