In the last fi nancial year, through severalCompany implemented projects, EAPCC staff members andthe local community have taken a giant leap in all mattersenvironment. The continual planting of trees in order toensure the restoration of forest cover has been a key activity.The signing of the Carbon Credit Trading agreement with JPMorgan Climate Care will see EAPCC reduce carbon dioxideemissions by over 105,000 tons per year, this reduction will inturn see the Company realize in excess of Kshs. 80,000,000per year from carbon sales.At EAPCC we continue to improve on our Operationalsafety. During the completed fi nancial year the Company sawa signifi cant reduction in the number of workplace accidents.This was a result of a carefully organized and aggressiveemployee education strategy that sensitized staff on thebenefi ts of safety.Ready to Go – Reverse Parking position.
