The Honorable Ginger Simpsonof Huntland,TN judged the 43-class, two day show. Show Manager, Mary Kay Hartman, kept everyone organized and the show movingalong.Many of the great California horses shown will soon be on their way to Shelbyville for the end-of-summer shows and the Celebration.The Tennessee Walking Horse Association of California (TWHAC) is dedicated to the promotion of the Tennessee Walking Horse.TWHAC sponsors a number of shows each year and is also involved with the non-competitive enjoyment of the Tennessee Walking Horseas a trail and pleasure mount, sponsoring numerous trail rides and Fun Day shows throughout the year.The gorgeous and talented Jose’s Buddy Holly won the Open Stake (Canter) class with Greg Bryant in the irons for owner, LorraineSeth. The Open Specialty Stake honors went to Lucky Grand Slam with Melvin Parham directing “Slam” to the blue ribbon award for owners,Judy and Ron Jones of Chino Hills, CA and Flagstaff, AZ.
