He’s My Main Man was the MainMan at Liberty LionsSHELBYVILLE, TN- <strong>The</strong> 13th Annual Liberty Lions Club Walking Horse Show was held on Friday night, June 15, 2012. <strong>The</strong> show startedpromptly at :30 pm with the presentation of the flags. Ritz American Idol was the flag horse. He is ridden and trained by Jeff Byromand owned by Bruce White. <strong>The</strong> National Anthem and Invocation was by Lion Larry Hames. <strong>The</strong> Bedford County Agriculture Center inShelbyville was dusty with all the horses working the track and the crowd was thrilled to see the water truck make a lap around the ring.<strong>The</strong> judge, Paula Gambill Roddy, made her debut marking the cards of the 31 classes, while ringmaster, Spencer Neeley, assisted her.<strong>The</strong> announcer for the evening was Lion Bob Finney, and Chase Williams was the organist. Jennifer Potts Barr was the photographer for theevening and Lamar Mitchell was the farrier on call. <strong>The</strong> show affiliated with S.H.O.W. Hio and the show manager Lion Paul Gambill andshow secretary, Lion Tim Parker, both were pleased with the turnout.<strong>The</strong> final class of the evening making the gate call had four top entries. First place was given to He’s My Main Man and WinkyGroover for Rising Star Ranch. Reserve went to <strong>The</strong> Thug with Dick Peebles in the irons for proud owners, Luckey and Kay Easterling. <strong>The</strong>SCOOP congratulates all the winners at the Liberty Lions Club Show.
