Jesus, The Christ, came to tellyou about God so you could hear God’s word andthoughts. John said, “No man has seen God at anytime;the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom ofthe Father, he has declared him [God, JHVH]” (John1:18). Moses saw God’s glory and when he receivedThe Law he could tell Israel when they sinned (I John3:4). Christ came to reveal The Truth about who Godwas, is and always will be.The Law never told Israel how God thinks or definedHis motives and desires. That is why Isaiah wrote,“Seek you the Lord while he may be found, call youupon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake hisway and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let himreturn to the Lord and he will have mercy upon him;and to our God [JHVH], for he will abundantly pardon.
