Reflecting the environment in which we are currentlyoperating, that is one that is challenging in terms for both social economy organisations andorganisations working to deliver the women’s enterprise agenda, relationships sometimescome under pressure, as one contract customer told us, when asked if we work welltogether:“Some of the time – a very complicated question – on a personal level we get on verywell, but on an organisational level there has been friction – on occasion ourrelationship has been jarred”.WBN continues to work in formal partnership at national and European level through AWEand Innova SME support. These partnerships not only offer excellent opportunities to sharegood practice, but also create a powerful vehicle to raise awareness of effective approachesto women’s enterprise. Feedback from one contract customer confirms the success of ourapproach:“Great Organisation to work in partnership with. I respect what they are doing and ratethem very highly.”During the year, WBN has attended an increased number of meetings with partners, demonstrating commitment to working together with other organisations.
