Rules and regulations (cont.)<br />
4. Experienced judges shall pass on each class.<br />
5. The judge shall determine proper placing in the<br />
absence of competition in any class. Should unsound,<br />
inferior or distinctly unworthy specimens be presented<br />
in competition, the Association shall be under no obligation<br />
to decorate them with ribbons or distribute prizes as<br />
scheduled. Merit alone shall justify recognition.<br />
6. Feed and bedding must be furnished by the exhibitor.<br />
Care will be exercised to have all pens clean and bedded<br />
with a suitable base material at the time of entry. No<br />
straw is permitted for bedding.<br />
The exhibitor will be expected to:<br />
n Provide on site supervision of their animals.<br />
n Keep the space they occupy in a clean and sanitary<br />
condition.<br />
n Remove all litter or equipment promptly as the<br />
superintendent may direct.<br />
7. Illegal drugs, poor sportsmanship and/or unethical<br />
conduct in fitting and showing will not be permitted.<br />
Ramping (elevating the front feet of lambs with heads<br />
tied close to the rail) will not be permitted.<br />
8. Exhibitors removing their animals from the barn<br />
prior to the posted release time shall forfeit all premiums.<br />
9. The Cleveland County <strong>Fair</strong> Association shall not be<br />
responsible for any accident which may occur to, or by<br />
reason of any animals exhibited at the show. Also, the<br />
exhibitor shall hold the Cleveland County <strong>Fair</strong> blameless<br />
and indemnify the Cleveland County <strong>Fair</strong> against any<br />
legal proceedings arising from such actions.<br />
