Accepted: Thursday, Oct. 1, <strong>2015</strong>, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.<br />

Show: Saturday, Oct. 3, <strong>2015</strong>, at 1 p.m.<br />

Released: Monday, Oct. 5, <strong>2015</strong>, at 8 p.m.<br />

Western Horses and Ponies<br />

Accepted: Tuesday, Oct. 6, <strong>2015</strong>, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.<br />

Entry information<br />

Show: Saturday, Oct. 10, <strong>2015</strong> at 10 a.m.<br />

Released: Saturday, Oct. 10, <strong>2015</strong>, at 8 p.m.<br />

n Please use a separate entry form for each show. For example, do<br />

not list horses and any other species of livestock on the same form.<br />

n No entries will be accepted after Sept. 16. Exhibitors removing<br />

their animals prior to the posted release time shall forfeit all premiums<br />

earned and shall be prohibited from competition at the Cleveland<br />

County <strong>Fair</strong> the following year.<br />

OPEN TO CLEVELAND, BURKE, CATAWBA, GASTON, LINCOLN AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES IN NORTH CAROLINA,<br />

AND CHEROKEE AND YORK COUNTIES IN SOUTH CAROLINA<br />

Admission tickets and parking<br />

See the director for admission and parking pass at check-in.<br />

n Two exhibitor passes will be issued per entry.<br />

n Vehicles and trailers must be moved to the special livestock parking<br />

area outside the gate immediately after unloading.<br />

Guidelines<br />

1. Make your entries early using the entry form at the back of this<br />

book or online at www.ClevelandCounty<strong>Fair</strong>.com.<br />

2. Use a separate form for each horse (do not include them on the<br />

entry form with any other type of livestock).<br />

3. Illegible or incomplete entry forms will not be accepted.<br />

4. A copy of Coggins Report certified by the issuing veterinarian must<br />

be mailed with the entry form. The original Coggins report must be presented<br />

once the animal arrives at the fairgrounds.<br />

5. Written proof of age must be provided for horses and ponies less<br />

than one year of age and must be mailed with entry.<br />

6. Space is assigned in the order entries are received and show is limited<br />

to available stall space.<br />

7. Entry fee is $5 per head. Please remit fees payable to the “Cleveland<br />

County <strong>Fair</strong>” with your entry form(s). No entries will be accepted after<br />

Sept. 11.<br />

8. Junior exhibitors 9-19 years of age must have fitted, cared for and be<br />

in the possession of their animals for 30 or more days prior to the show.<br />
