For example, do not list meat goats and market goats on the same entry form. n Important: No entries will be accepted after Sept. 16. Exhibitors removing their animals from the barn prior to posted released time shall forfeit premiums. n Make your entries early using the entry form at the back of this book or online at www.ClevelandCountyFair.com. Space is assigned in the order entries are received and the show is limited to available tie space which is 200 head. n In order to compete, exhibitors must be capable of showing animals without assistance in the ring. These combined junior and senior shows are sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association and their rules shall govern. Refer to http://adga.org/ShowKit/ShowRules.pdf for complete details. Only American Dairy Goat Association, American Goat Society and Canadian Goat Society registered, recorded or applied for animals may be shown in an official American Dairy Goat Association Show. 2. The superintendent reserves the right to limit the number of entries per farm. 3. The base date for computing ages of animals is the date of the show. There is no pre-show milk-out. 4. The original registration certificate is required for all animals six months of age and older and MUST be shown to the show secretary before the start of the show. 5. The original registration certificate or duplicate application stamped by the ADGA office is required for all animals under six months of age and it MUST be shown to the show secretary before the start of the show. 6. No copies of registration certificate or the stamped duplicate application, telegrams, or phone calls will be accepted in lieu of the original certificate. 7. All animals entering the grounds must have health certificates. Negative brucellosis and TB tests within 30 days or herd certifications and accreditation are also required unless animals are from states that are certified “TB and Brucellosis Free” by the USDA (check with veterinarian). A health check of all animals will be performed on the grounds and suspect/unhealthy animals will be barred from entry. When you submit your entry you agree to abide by the decision of the show officials. All animals must comply with USDA Scrapie Eradication program. 8. All animals must be checked in with the attending health inspectors and the show superintendent during the prescribed check-in times. 9. If your animal is awarded a GCH or RGCH you must have your papers ready for immediate viewing by the judge. Please verify all the information on the official show sheet prior to signing. 10.
