4) All the required Precautions against damage to public places, air pollution and noise pollution etc. to be taken. For theprotection of environment more and more trees or plants to beplanted year by year. At present trees and plants are not there atthe prescribed or at the nearby area. But as per the future aspectsthere is provision for planting around 20-25 number of plantsacross the boundary area held under the quarry lease and thenearby area.5) Plantation has been done properly by utilizing the top soilobtained from the operations under the leased quarry area. Asthere is no presence public buildings , monuments , religiousplaces near the leased quarry area hence no worry of causingdamage to them.6) Air pollution caused due to fines or dust are very muchcontrolled and are kept within the permissible limits specifiedunder the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 (No.14 of 1981) and the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (No. 29 of1986) and rules made there under.7) Noise arising out of the quarrying operations are carefullyabated or controlled at the sources of that leased quarry area soas to keep it within the permissible limits falling under noisepollution.Proprietor-Akshay Kumar Shrivastava (S.S. Proposed Environment Management Scheme forS.S. Stone Mine at Village Nardaha, Arang (C.G)(As Per The Provisions Of Chhattisgarh Minor Mineral Rules, 1996)1) Protection of Environment is one of the foremost thing to bedone and it is to be properly executed. Top Soil has been removedseparately excavated for quarrying operations. Top soil is beingspread carefully to the surrounding at the boundaries at anaverage width of 1 to 1.2 meters forming a wide strip at theboundaries. And some of them is being stored for the futureaspects. Plantation at the whole periphery area of the land to bedone for the proper utilization of top soil.2) Reclamation and Rehabilitation of Land to be done for theprotection of environment and control of the pollution whileconducting quarrying operation. Top soil in land has the layer ofabout 10 cm to 15 cm at the operating quarry area. Its beingproperly utilized at the boundaries so that proper plantation to bedone at the boundary of the whole quarry area and also to carryout quarrying operations in such a manner so as to cause nodamage to the flora of the area held under the quarry lease andthe nearby area.3) As the whole of the top soil has been properly used for theplantation purpose there is no over burden is available at the areaunder the quarry lease. Due to the presence of Sheet rocks thereis no over burden occurs. In case of some fines are available thatis to be properly utilized for developing the ramp of crusher area.
