Blended cemeni with fly ash shall be used (not lessthan 17%). The provisions of Ministry of Fnvironment and Forests, Governmentof lndia Notification No 763(E) dated 14l}glj999 [amended notification no. SO979 (E) dated 27lA8l20A3l regarding use of Fly ash must be comptied with.Appropriate usage of other industrial wastes shall also be explored. Soil borrowarea should be filled up with ash with proper compaction and covered withtopsoil kept separately. Fly ashlpond ash should be used for low- lying areasfilling. ln embankinents/road construction etc. ash should be utilized as perguidelines of Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of lndia/Cerrtral Potlution Control Board/ lndian Road Congress etc. concerningauthorities.
