The SElA,A, Chhattisgarn peruseJ the'information' submitted byproject proponent. ln light of the clarifioati-on issued by Ministry of fnviionment andForests, Government of lndia vide letter No. J-11013/Bi200elA-irtti J.ieoiolo 4n0agand circular No. J-1101314112006-lA-ll(l) dated ?1t11e}a6, after detiberation, theSEIAA, Chhattisgarh accepted the recommendation of SEAC, Chhattisgarh anddecided to grant environmental clearance. Accordingly, sEIAA, cnnattisgirh herebyaccords Environmental Clearance for the City cenier with Mall, Star- Hotel andMultiplex theaters etc. with following conditioni subject to strict compliance of theterms and conditions mentioned below :_Part A - Specific Conditionsl. Construction phaseFacilitv of Labourers durinq Construction: -4i) Construction.camp and temporary labour sheds shall be located away fromthe construction site. Construction camps shall be provided for constructionpersonnel to avoid indiscriminate settlement of construction workers andlabourers.ii) Provision of drinking water, wastewater disposal, solid wastes managementand primary health facilities shall be ensured for labour camps. propersanitation facilities shall be provided at the construction site to preventhealth related problem. Domestic as well as sanitary wastes fromconstruction camps shall be cleared regularly. Provision shall be made formobile toilets. The safe disposal of wastewater and solid wastes generatedduring construction phase shall be ensured.iii) Water usage during construction shall be optimized to avoid any wastage.iv) Adequate safely measures shall be adopted to the construction vrorkers.v) All the labourers to be engaged for construction works shall be screened forhealth and adequately treated before issue of work permits. The contractorshall ensure periodic health checklup of construction workers. A first Aidroom shall be provided in the project both during construction and operationof the project.vi) Provision shall be made for the supply of kerosene or cookrng gas/pressure cooker to the labourers during construction phase.Environmental Manaqement durinq Construction: _i) ns far as practicable, re-use of debris of demolished existingbuildings/housesistructures at existing site is recommended with a special carefor handling and disposal of asbestos waste, if any.
