Open cast mining is asurface exploration method.In the lease area the ore body is covered by alluvial soil & lateritic soil. In the first five yearmining will be carried out in eastern part of the lease area .The average thickness of top soil is to be considered about 3.26m which will be removedsystematically prior to actual mining of limestone.The detail of bench parameter have been given under yearwise development/production offirst five year plan. Drilling and blasting of limestione have been proposed will be carried outby using jack hammer. Blasting will be carried out with the help of special gelatin and safetyfuse.
