INDEPTHGIMP has come up with a tabbed viewof all the active windows.The tabbed view sits on top ofthe editing canvas and displays asmall thumbnail preview of all theactive windows—an efficient way totoggle between multiple images. It’sa feature that isn’t very new amonggraphics editors, but it still is aworthy add-on for multitasking withimages easily.Other UI ChangesMajor UI changes have overshadowedmost of the new release’s makeover;however, the developers have paidclose attention and fine-tuned somesmaller areas and made changeswhere they matter most:n Multi-column dock: with previousversions, it was possible to groupmultiple docks together in aFigure 4.
