Round Peak Vineyards<br />
Round Peak Vineyards hosted a <strong>Chamber</strong> Business<br />
After Hours event on Friday <strong>June</strong> 12, 2009 at 765<br />
Round Peak Church Road <strong>Mount</strong> <strong>Airy</strong>, NC. It was a<br />
perfect late spring evening, warm and sunny with<br />
the breathtaking views <strong>of</strong> Skull Camp <strong>Mount</strong>ain and<br />
Round Peak <strong>Mount</strong>ain surrounding the vineyard.<br />
Owners, Ken Gulaian and his wife Kari Heerdt were<br />
the perfect hosts. Over 60 <strong>Chamber</strong> members and<br />
guests were invited to the back <strong>of</strong> the winery for a<br />
wine tasting under the supervision <strong>of</strong> Whit Lambert Vineyard Manager.<br />
Complimenting the wonderful varieties <strong>of</strong> wines all made with Round Peak<br />
Vineyard grapes, was a fabulous selection <strong>of</strong> appetizers…..delicious flavors<br />
and tastes. Guests were entertained by Carter, a young local guitarist and<br />
singer. What an awesome way to end a week….a glass <strong>of</strong> Round Peak wine<br />
and the breathtaking view <strong>of</strong> the mountains! Thank you Ken and Kari for<br />
such a wonderful evening!<br />
