2013 OLA TOURNAMENT GUIDELINESTOURNAMENT CHECK LIST1. Referee in Chief – assigns officials as per schedule2. Check with Zone <strong>Tournament</strong> Convenor3. Discipline Committee – as per tournament application4. Schedule Arena Convenors - All Arena Convenors should be prepared withO.L.A. Rules and Regulations (formerly the Constitution), Current Rule Book,any reports regarding suspensions of any kind and the Fine Sheets.5. Instruct on proper procedures for same:(Be sure to hold a meeting to EXPLAIN to convenors the following)i.e. registrationdisciplineappealdressing room allocationsweater conflictsfine sheets6. Distribution of O.L.A. Forms as required7. Posting all pertinent information:i.e. tournament rulesfirst aid, etc.registration deskschedulingdressing rooms8. Program printing including tournament rules9. Order awards and hand-outs10. OLA approved Balls and game sheets11. Time Keepers - ** see guidelines re clinic **12. Confirm arena, schedules with Municipality13. Identify Convenors by tag/button/hat/shirt14. Use media for promotion and results15. Be sure contacts have received schedules16. Check for any conflicts within your association17. Do you have enough volunteers? *minimum 4 per arena*18.
