2013 OLA TOURNAMENT GUIDELINESTEAM INFORMATIONA team will consist of a minimum of six (6) players and a maximum of nineteen (18 + 1) players ifonly one (1) goaltender is dressed, or twenty (20) players if two (2) goaltenders are dressed. Nomore than two (2) goaltenders may be dressed per team at any one time.A maximum of four (4) certified bench personnel will be permitted on the bench at any one time.One must be a certified trainer with a maximum of 3 coaches. See MR2.12 (b) of OLA Constitution. (See page 4)<strong>Invitational</strong> and Provincial Championship <strong>Tournament</strong> will be structured by category levels (that is:A, B, C, D, E) and teams will be placed in their deemed competitive level by rating. In situationswhere an organization has more than one team operating within an age category, it must be clearlyindicated which team the game sheet covers. I.e. Tyke #1(A) or Tyke #2 (C).Players moving up to play in the next higher age category must be indicated on the game sheet bya letter to denote their registered category. (i.e. Paperweight-PW, Tyke-T, Novice-N, Peewee-P,Bantam-B, Midget-M)A team entering a tournament must play in their proper age division. (i.e. a tyke team cannotparticipate at the novice level)Teams participating in <strong>Tournament</strong>s should have an extra set of sweaters available, in case ofteam sweater colour conflict.In the event of sweater colour conflict, the O.L.A. <strong>Tournament</strong> Supervisor will enforce:o Home team must change - however if a conflict still exists,o <strong>Tournament</strong> Host must have 2 sets extra jerseys on handPRIOR TO TOURNAMENT:Confirm with Host Club contact (suggest two (2) weeks prior to assigned tournament) of yourassignment and approximate time of your arrival.Request <strong>Tournament</strong> Schedule and location of arenas.If more than one arena, establish at which one you will be working.If you require overnight accommodation, Host Club contact will probably recommend suitable hotelclose to arena.Advise as soon as possible host <strong>Tournament</strong> Convenor if unable to keep assignment.The Convenor must have:a. The O.L.A. <strong>Tournament</strong> <strong>Guidelines</strong>b. The O.L.A. Rules and Regulations (formerly titled Constitution)c. The C.L.A. Rule BookFamiliarize yourself with the O.L.A. <strong>Tournament</strong> Information and Rules and Regulations (formerlyConstitution) - it will help in answering the many questions asked.3
