Concrete should be allowed tocure for at least 28 days and cement render 7 days priorto tiling. A wood float finish is referred. Smooth steeltrowel finished concrete must be mechanically abraded toincrease adhesion.EXPANSION JOINTSMovement joints should be incorporated in the tile layoutand in accordance with AS3958.1 clauses 5.4.5.1 to 6and/or BS5385.MIXING20kg of Fixall power requires approximately 5 litres ofwater which produces 14 litres of mixed product.Open TimeAdjustability TimeApplication TemperatureSet to Light Traffic20 mins at 22 o C and 50% RH45 mins at 22 o C and 50% RHFrom +5 o C to +40 o CAfter 24 – 36 hrsAdd a measured amount of clean water into a cleancontainer and sprinkle Fixall power slowly into the liquidwhich constant stirring. Eliminate lumps. Mix to a thicktoothpaste consistency. Allow standing for 2 minutes thenremixing. The adhesive is now ready to use. Megalasticshould be used instead of water to fortify, flexibilize andpromote adhesion for difficult to bond tiles such asmosaic, vitrified and porcelain.FIXALL PAGE 1 of 3.
