All of these can have a profound negative emotionalimpact and produce a fear of forming secure healthy relationships. Additionally, placementstability is especially important for youth success in foster care.Youth who experience minimal placement changes are more likely to experience fewerschool changes, less trauma and distress, less mental health and behavioral problems andincreased probabilities for academic achievement and experiencing a lasting positiveOffice of Family Safety | Page 25
