Information Pack 2016Mount KilimanjaroMachame Route18: TRANSIT VISAIf you are booking your own flights and travelling to Tanzania via Kenya, you will need aKenyan transit visa.Before leaving the airport, you will need to get a transit visa from Kenyan customs. Thetransit visa costs $20 (USD) each way, so $40 in total. This helps to minimise costs to thecharity and ensure the maximum amount of fundraising goes to the cause you want to support.Passengers travelling on a group ticket must all depart and return on the same date. If you wish to stay inTanzania for longer, return early, or arrive early, then you should opt to book your own flights.SWITCHING GROUPSIn some circumstances, it may be necessary for you to switch groups.
