Christmas Fair From the Headteachers Visit to Swans Secondary

Boys’ SportUnder 19 Football TournamentA heroic, valiant display by the Swans Under 19 football team was not rewarded with the resultsthey deserved in the largest tournament of its kind on the Costa Del Sol. Lucas Reek, thecourageous captain of our squad, played well in goal and kept most of the scores respectable. Hisdisplay was only outshone by the debutant James Lowsley-Williams who showed the type ofenergy that is needed in all football teams. The silky skills of the Barrena brothers and the hardwork of Sam De Jonge in attack showed that, with more preparation and time together, thissquad could win games. It should be noted that all but four of the squad were playing in anadvanced age group, and the experience they gained will help them in the future.
