Let’s Talk LandSpecifically, let’s talk about land as itrelates to topics such as chickens inresidential areas, home-based businesses,the mobile home siteand others.The Forever Faro project is into the next phase to align Faro’s Official Community Plan (OCP)with the new Integrated Community Sustainability Plan (ICSP), so now it’s time to talk land,taking a look at the draft chapters of Faro’s updated OCP and discussing some zoning items.The Forever Faro ICSP and OCP will help to lead our community to a socially, economically,and environmentally sustainable and successful future. They articulate long-term goals forFaro, strategic directions and policies to start achieving the goals, and indicators to trackperformance.Forever Faro Community EventMonday, August 5 th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in Council Chambers at Municipal HallCome for a few minutes or stay for the duration – you can provide a little or a lot of input onthe draft OCP chapters and zoning items and then leave when you need to. There will be a 20minute presentation at 7:00pm by the project consultant to introduce the OCP/zoning phaseof Forever Faro and how you can provide input.
