FRIDAY – (Christmas Eve) We leave our home area and <strong>travel</strong> over the St.<br />

David’s Bridge into Wales, stopping for coffee en route. We continue on to the<br />

pretty Welsh town of Bluith Wells for lunch, before completing our journey to our<br />

hotel <strong>with</strong> time to settle in before dinner and our Christmas Eve entertainment.<br />

SATURDAY – (Christmas Day) The morning is free for you to spend as you<br />

please in Criccieth. You may like to visit the castle and enjoy its splendid views,<br />

or maybe take a stroll around the town and browse the shops. After an early<br />

lunch, we take a gentle drive through the heart of the Snowdonia National Park<br />

to the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed, <strong>with</strong> its wonderful gift shops and tearooms.<br />

We return to our hotel in time for a visit from You Know Who! A festive dinner will<br />

then be served before the Christmas Cracker party night.<br />

SUNDAY – (New Year’s Eve) After a leisurely breakfast, join us as we take a<br />

leisurely drive through the scenic Llanberis Pass to Caernarfon for lunch, before<br />

crossing the bridge to Anglesey and James Pringle Weaver’s Woollen Mill and gift<br />

shop at Llanfairpwllgwngllgogerychyrndrobwillantysiliogogogch. We return to our<br />

hotel <strong>with</strong> time to relax before a final evening dinner followed by New Year<br />

celebrations, including live entertainment to dance the night away.<br />

MONDAY – Back to reality! We leave our hotel after breakfast and begin our<br />

homeward journey to the West Country, <strong>with</strong> stops for coffee and lunch en route,<br />

and returning to our home area early-evening, hoping you’ll have enjoyed your<br />

early Christmas!<br />

SATURDAY – We leave our home area and make our way north to the<br />

centre of Birmingham’s <strong>with</strong> the remainder of the day free to shop ‘til you<br />

drop! As well as all the High Street shops, there is also Frankfurt<br />

Christmas Market which has become a huge favourite and combined <strong>with</strong><br />

the city’s own Christmas Craft Fair of local traders, it offers over 180<br />

stalls, the largest authentic German market outside of Germany.<br />

Picturesque wooden chalets offer traditional handcrafted gifts, jewellery,<br />

wooden toys, and candles. Sample the Glühwein (German mulled wine),<br />

German beers, traditional sausages, meats, sweets, breads and pastries.<br />

Late afternoon we make our way to our hotel <strong>with</strong> time to relax before<br />

dinner and an evening at leisure.<br />

SUNDAY – After a leisurely breakfast, we leave our hotel and <strong>travel</strong> to<br />

the spa city of Bath for its annual Christmas Market. Here, you’ll have<br />

plenty of time to browse the many stalls, absorb the street entertainment<br />

and sample some of the delicious delicacies on offer! We leave Bath late<br />

afternoon, completing our homeward journey and arriving early/midevening.<br />
