An elegant, Victorian, 3* hotel with a stunning seafront position, situated close to
the pier, beach and town centre. All rooms are ensuite with TV, radio, iron and tea
& coffee-making facilities. The Verandah Restaurant serves a delicious seasonal
menu using locally sourced ingredients where possible. The hotel also has an

MONDAY – We leave the West Country and travel to Wilton Village for coffee.
We then continue along the south coast to Arundel, a pretty town with quaint
shops, allowing ample time for lunch and a browse. We complete our journey to
our hotel, arriving with time to settle in before a drinks reception followed by
dinner and entertainment.
TUESDAY – (Christmas Eve) Join us this morning as we make a scenic drive via
Beachy Head to Brighton with time to browse the many High Street shops or take
a stroll the historic Lanes – a maze of narrow alleyways lined with antique shops
and elegant arcades of boutiques or you may like to take a stroll along the pier.
We return to our hotel in time for lunch. The afternoon is free for you to relax and
enjoy a traditional Sussex cream tea with live music. Dinner this evening will once
again be followed by live musical entertainment
WEDNESDAY (Christmas Day) Happy Christmas! The day is free to spend as
you please. After breakfast and a gift from Santa you may like to spend the
morning exchanging presents, attend a local church service or take a stroll along
the prom to work up an appetite for a delicious traditional Christmas lunch with all
the trimmings. Spend the afternoon having a nap, or watching the Queen’s
speech on the TV. Afternoon tea & Christmas cake will be served followed later
by a buffet dinner and evening entertainment.
THURSDAY – (Boxing Day) Join us this morning if you wish as we take a
leisurely drive a little further along the coast and surrounding countryside,
returning to our hotel in time for a Boxing Day lunch. The afternoon is free to
spend as you please; maybe take a stroll along the prom and enjoy tea & mince
pies. Time also to relax before the Chef's spectacular buffet dinner and a final
evening of live entertainment.
FRIDAY – This morning we leave Eastbourne and make our way west, with stops
in Chichester for coffee and Salisbury for lunch, reaching our home area early
evening.

Harrogate is a delightful spa town in North Yorkshire, on the edge of the Yorkshire
Dales, It a popular tourist destination with its spa waters, RHS Harlow Carr
Gardens and Betty's tearooms being world famous visitor attractions.
A modern, spacious 4* hotel ideally located in the heart of the historic spa town
of Harrogate. Each of its comfortable rooms is ensuite, with TV, telephone,
hairdryer, iron, trouser press and tea & coffee-making facilities. There are lifts to
all floors and the restaurant serves a variety of dishes and a generous buffet
breakfast. Entertainment will be provided each evening.

MONDAY – We leave the West Country and begin our journey north, stopping for
coffee and lunch en route, and arriving at our hotel where tea & mince pies are
served whilst your luggage is delivered to your room. Time to settle in before a
sherry reception followed by dinner and a first night of live entertainment.
TUESDAY – (Christmas Eve) After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to the
beautiful historic city of York, with time to shop for that last minute gift and soak
up the Christmas atmosphere. You may like to visit the Minster and enjoy a
leisurely lunch in one of the many cafés and restaurants. We return to our hotel
mid afternoon where, if you wish, you can to join the Christmas Eve bingo
followed later by a drinks reception, dinner and entertainment
WEDNESDAY (Christmas Day) Happy Christmas! The day is free to spend as
you please. You may like to spend the morning exchanging presents, attend a
local church service or take a stroll around the town to work up an appetite for a
delicious traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. Spend the afternoon
taking part in the Treasure Hunt, playing bingo, having a nap, or watching the
Queen’s speech on the TV. Afternoon tea & Christmas cake will be served
followed later by the Chef’s dressed buffet and evening entertainment.
THURSDAY – (Boxing Day) Join us this morning if you wish as we take a
leisurely drive around the surrounding countryside, returning to our hotel in time
for a Boxing Day lunch. The afternoon is free to spend as you please. You may
like to stroll the short distance in to the centre of Harrogate and browse the shops,
join in the bingo or simply relax and do nothing! A Boxing Day dinner will be
followed by our final evening of entertainment and dancing.
FRIDAY – Sadly, it’s time to leave our hotel, and make our homeward journey,
again with regular comfort stops en route, and arriving back in the West Country
early - mid evening.
