EDITORIAL
The feature of the inaugural 2011 NEAFL northern conference season has
been the tightness of the competition, not just in premiership table placings,
but in results.
Anyone with a remote interest in the NEAFL knows the race for finals placings
has been hotly contested right through the opening 19 rounds and a
magnifi cent set of fi xtures await again this weekend.
But the general closeness of games has been what has really set this season
apart.
Broadbeach, the Brisbane Lions Reserves and Mt Gravatt have been involved
in the most heart-stoppers.
The Cats have played six matches for results of two goals or less, including
four by less than a goal. After three successive close losses by a combined
margin of 25 points, the Cats have made a play for a fi nals spot with fi vepoint
and one-point victories of two of the top three sides.
Meanwhile the Vultures have endured seven heart-stoppers of 13 points or
less, losing the fi rst three but winning the next four, the victories all by nine
points or less.
The Lions Reserves have the most unfortunate record of fi ve losses by 10
points or under and a draw last week against Morningside.
While the Lions will almost certainly ‘win’ their fi rst wooden spoon, their supporters
could quite rightly argue that they have been a far better combination
in 2011 than last season when they won two more games and fi nished
eighth.
The Lions lost 94, 95, 102 and 127 points last season – and beat the Western
Magpies by 187.
Just two matches in the entire 2011 season have recorded 100 point-plus
margins, and none since the June State bye.
The close competition is a credit to the club development managers and
respective coaching staff. It is also a tribute to the work of longtime QAFL
and NEAFL northern conference Operations Manager Marty King.
Marty resigned his post last week with the competition in wonderful shape
and he takes the thanks of all in ‘clubland’ and AFLQ with him for an outstanding
job done.
ROUND 20 PREVIEWS
Brisbane Lions v Gold Coast Suns
Two thrashings at the hands of the Suns in their fi rst two clashes does not sit well with the Lions Reserves, especially coach
Nathan Clarke.
Clarke is hoping that personal and team pride, combined with a liking for the tight confi nes of
Giffi n Park, will inspire his side to an upset victory.
As documented in the editorial at the front of the program, the Lions have been the unluckiest
side in the competition with a string of close losses. None of those have involved the Suns, who
won by 40 points at Fankhauser Reserve in Round 6 and 63 points at Metricon Stadium three
weeks ago.
The sheer running power of the Suns has fl attened the Lions on both occasions, while their big
men have also been dominant.
The bad news for the Lions is that Nathan Ablett (pictured) was back to his best form in the loss
at Broadbeach last week and the players dropping down from the seniors each week are every
bit as good as the ones going up.
A win to the Lions would bring them to within half a game of Labrador providing the Tigers lose
this weekend, and give them a slight chance of getting off the bottom of the table while the Suns already know they will almost
certainly be the away team in the qualifying fi nal.
Aspley v Southport
In one of the quirks of the inaugural NEAFL draw, this is the fi rst time these two elimination fi nal
aspirants clash in 2011 – and the stakes could not be higher.
Southport have already worked the tightrope for the last month, knowing that one more loss would
mean their season was over. They have kept winning, but this is a big test.
Aspley has been the hardest hit club by injury outside of Labrador and they currently resemble a
courageous middleweight fi ghter, having absorbed a number of blows and desperately trying to
get off the canvas.
They were brave in the way they came back at Labrador last week and are always a better side
on their treasured home turf.
The Sharks will no doubt try to pull Hornets ‘quarterback’ and inspirational leader Robbie Copeland
(pictured) out of the play, while their own defence has looked rock-solid in recent weeks with
Wayde Mills, Ben Merrett and Kurt Niklaus suddenly imposing.
The Sharks will want to ensure stalwart Adam Devine’s record-equalling 218th State League game is remembered in style, and
keep the dream of a miracle fi nals appearance alive.
NEAFL Football Record Issue18 13th - 14 th August 2011 Page 2

Mt Gravatt v NT Thunder
The great depth of the NT Thunder was unveiled in their close loss to the GWS Giants last
week and a battalion of reinforcements arrive this week.
It is incredible to think that the Thunder won their fi rst 10 games straight, mostly comfortably,
but have lost four of their last six matches.
The number that really counts is that they have won every game at TIO Stadium bar one
since their introduction three years ago and love their Darwin home.
Mt Gravatt certainly have the midfi eld rotation to ask questions of the Thunder, with a dozen
players all capable of having stints on the ball and making an impact.
It will be a genuine treat for the crowd to see the likes of Vulture Albert Proud (pictured)
and Thunder star Cameron Ilett go head-to-head. Equally so, the showdown between State
full-back Gavin Grose and the darling of the Darwin crowd Darren Ewing will be even more
critical to the outcome.
These two sides engaged in the match of the season in Alice Springs in May, played at
breakneck speed where the Vultures mowed down a six-goal defi cit to hit the front halfway
through the last quarter, only to sink under a late avalanche of NT goals.
Morningside v Redland
We might still be a fortnight away from the playoffs, but this game is a virtual elimination fi nal.
Morningside have not won a game since July 9, when they suffocated the NT Thunder with a
strategic victory at this very venue.
It has been a battle since then, with losses to Southport and Mt Gravatt and a draw with the
Lions Reserves.
While other clubs have had more injuries, Morningside have suffered through the loss of key
players – especially defenders – throughout the year.
With Caleb Brown likely to miss again and Nathan Kinch defi nitely out for the Panthers, Redland
have their best chance to register a victory here for the fi rst time in 12 years.
Much will depend on superb athlete Scott Clouston (pictured), who was quiet in the loss to Mt
Gravatt last week and is very much the barometer of the Bombers’ success. Redland’s lack of
midfi eld accountability was glaring last week and that will no doubt have been fi xed this time
around.
ROUND 20 PREVIEWS
Broadbeach v Labrador
Broadbeach could not pick a better day than this one to break a four-game losing streak
against local rivals Labrador.
The Cats have not tasted success against the Tigers since Round 1 of 2009, although three of
the four losses have been at Cooke-Murphy Oval.
When they last clashed in Round 7, the Cats were hard hit by injury to match their decimated
rivals and Labrador prevailed by 16 points in a tough slog.
These games are traditionally tough, grinding affairs although this one might be an exception to
the rule with the Tigers becoming more offensive as they regain more and more quality players.
Broadbeach’s midfi eld has really kicked up a gear in recent weeks, Dayne Zorko (pictured) is
on fi re, Griffi n Underwood is playing his best football of the season and Rory Walton really in
the groove. Walton’s fi rst NEAFL game was against the Tigers on minimal preparation and he
will be a far different proposition this time around.
Broadbeach have not played fi nals football since 2006 and while the emphasis at H&A Oval is
on improvement, the core playing group is highly motivated to mix it in September.
COACH HAS SERVED HIS
APPRENTICESHIP
Labrador co-coach Brad Moore admitted the elevation to head coaching ranks alongside Tim Notting came as a surprise. Moore
has been the main voice to the player group at Cooke-Murphy Oval since Denis Knight stepped down at the start of July, accelerating
what had been a carefully planned apprenticeship.
He started at the club as reserves coach in 2010, having previously coached reserves football on the Mornington Peninsular,
and under 18s before that.
“I suppose I was different to a lot of players in that I decided to do what they do at AFL level and complete an apprenticeship,”
Moore said. “I decided to work under a few guys and learn as much as I could.
“The opportunity (to be senior coach at a club) presented itself earlier than I anticipated.”
From all reports – and results - Moore and Notting have formed an impressive partnership, with the Tigers being particularly
competitive before notching their fi rst win last weekend with the new duo at the helm.
Training has remained vibrant despite the Tigers being out of fi nals contention.
“The guys really didn’t want to give up on the season,” Moore said. “They wanted to work hard and show some faith.
“They’re a proud bunch of boys. They’ve worked well. We couldn’t be happier with the way they’ve responded to the change.”
The Tigers, who were riddled with injury for much of the season, appear to have ensured the wooden spoon heads to the Gabba
with the Brisbane Lions Reserves, and they want more wins in the next week and beyond.
“We’re really focusing on the development of our young guys and establishing a plan that allows them to take the game on and
be a little bit more offensive,” Moore said.
NEAFL Football Record Issue18 13th - 14 th August 2011 Page 4

“Some young guys have really stepped up to the plate like Adam Clarke and Mark McGill. They have really taken everything
we’ve spoken to them about over the last month well.
“They’ve played some really good football for us.”
Moore played football on the Mornington Peninsular before retiring at the age of 28 years. He started coaching at under 18 level
and won three premierships before graduating to the reserves. A physical education teacher for 13 years, he moved north to
take up a position at St Hilda’s girls school at Southport.
“The teaching profession is conducive to coaching – it gives you a good ability to communicate with players and staff,” Moore
said.
He has relished his time at Labrador.
“I’m really enjoying it. I was new to the club last year and worked under Jarrod Field and learnt a lot from him and the club was
really successful,” Moore said. “You are working with some quality players
including those from the AFL like Possum (Notting), Shatts (Aaron Shattock)
and Nobby (Trent Knobel).
“The club has been really supportive of me. I’m thoroughly enjoying it.
“We had the goal of fi nishing the season strong and are confi dent we can
fi nish with some more wins. It’s all about not giving up on the season.
“Against Southport (two weeks ago) was disappointing with the result but
we couldn’t have been happier with the way we performed. We were a bit
unlucky in the end.
“They (the players) came out with confi dence and got a win in the end.
“We’ll go to Broadbeach this week confi dent. We are really establishing a
core group and developing the young guys to make sure Labrador Football
Club is a strong side in 2012.”
FOR THE MORNINGSIDE FAITHFUL THIS
PRICE IS CERTAINLY RIGHT
By Terry Wilson
ONLY six players have featured in four Queensland State League grand fi nal premiership wins with Morningside.
Dean Edwards, the irrepressible rover of the late 1990s and early 2000s is one.
Of the current crop of Panthers, David Lillico, Jacob Gough, Nick Tomlinson and Shaun Mugavin join Edwards in the illustrious
group.
So who is the sixth player to have four premiership medallions to his name?
Brad Edwards? No. Craig Edwards? No. Damien Bonney? No.
Go to the top of the class if you nominate Jarrod Price, surely one of the most underrated
players going around with any club in the old QAFL and the new North Eastern Australian
Football League competition.
Price is one of those players who, in the words of Morningside Club Development Manager
Jack Barry, slips under the radar.
Price is rarely mentioned by those outside the Panther faithful as a star of the Morningside
machine, yet in-club he is highly regarded.
“He’s among the fi rst half a dozen or so players picked in the side every week,” said Barry.
“He’s a bit of an unsung hero.”
Coach John Blair goes even further than that when asked about Price and his role at Morningside.
“He’s one of the best I’ve ever coached,” said Blair in recognition of the value Price has
been to Morningside.
“His contribution to just about everything football here has been unbelievable. From tactics, to motivation, to coachability – he
has been a dream to coach.
“And his leadership is as important as any player at the club in my time here.”
Clearly Price is as Morningside as you can get. He is red, black and white through and through because those are the only colours
since he started at Esplen Oval as a junior back as a 13-year-old.
Like many youngsters, Price played soccer until his teen years, when a friend talked him into going to Pantherland and trying
out in Aussie rules.
He took to the code like a duck to water and eventually made it into the 2001 Queensland side for the national under-18 carnival
where he played alongside current AFL names such as Brad Miller, Josh Drummond, Joel MacDonald and David Hale.
However, the only taste of representative footy since was selection in a Queensland under-21 side a few seasons ago.
Yet there are those at Morningside who feel Price is the ultimate team man, a character who avoids the headlines but who gets
his job done with a minimum of fuss or fanfare.
After all, the name of Price on Morningside’s offi cial playing list does not appear until number 55, way down the list.
Maybe this best describes Price because he has been happy just having a number and being part of a team.
Price has turned from a wingman/half-back fl anker since his he made his debut against Redland in 2001.
He fi lled wing or half-back in Morningside’s premierships in 2003 and 2004, has fi lled in at full-forward – he kicked seven goals
in a game at the Gabba once – and now he’s a rock at full-back where he has played on some of the best in QAFL and now
NEAFL.
Individual glory has never been high on Price’s bucket list. He was asked if he has ever polled a vote in the Grogan Medal but
didn’t know.
And his best fi nish in the Morningside best and fairest was fi fth in 2007.
Yet, as we said previously, Price has four premiership medallions to his name – adding two more in 2009 and 2010 when he
was full-back for the Panthers.
When asked about Grogan Medal votes, Price said: “Maybe I got some when I kicked those goals at the Gabba, but I don’t really
know.
“But I accept that sort of thing. It’s my role, I approach it all as a team sport.”
NEAFL Football Record Issue18 13th - 14 th August 2011 Page 6

On the Grogan Medal subject, Price jokingly suggested that recently, when a goal umpire actually called him by name, he
thought it would be a good idea if the goalies were given the job of handing out Medal votes.
Perhaps that’s because he does not take notice of individual stats, preferring to do his job and let others take all the accolades.
But one particular performance stands out in the mind of the midfi elder-turned-key defender.
In the 2003 grand fi nal against Mt Gravatt, Price was given a tagging role as a wingman on danger Vulture Ben Bathalia, who
earlier in GF week fi nished third in the Grogan Medal.
“I kept him to two handballs,” said Price proudly. “While that might have been a negative role, it sticks in my mind as one of my
best moments.”
As a key defender, Price has played on some of the crack forwards in the competition, but was quick to nominate Ben McEntee,
the prolifi c goalkicking spearhead from Southport, as his most diffi cult and respected opponent.
“He could play and I really loved the challenge, even more so because he played with Southport and there was that long-time
rivalry between the clubs,” said Price.
At 28 years of age, Price is not sure what the future holds. Most certainly if he stays with football it will be with his beloved Panthers.
Married to Laura and the father of Cooper, 4, Ruby, 2, and fi ve-month-old
Maisie, family and work obviously are the priorities for Price.
Price is marketing manager for a company named IT Melbourne and has
ambitions in this regard, so football remains an outlet away from the pressures
of business for Price.
“At this stage I’m a year to year prospect – but I love Morningside,” he said.
And, one can add, Morningside obviously love him in return.
NAB RISING STAR NOMINEE ROUND EIGHTEEN
Sam Michael - Redland
And he readily admits “it’s been killing me”.
By Peter Blucher
It’s an undeniable fact in football these days that expectation can weigh very heavily on
young shoulders in any and every facet of life. Just ask Redland’s Sam Michael.
The 19-year-old AIS/AFL Academy squad member has carried a monstrous load through
a year he hopes will get him into the AFL at the end of the season.
“Yes, I have felt the pressure,” he said, admitting he hasn’t played as consistently well as he would have liked.
“I want to play in the AFL so badly that it’s hard not to think about it.
“I set myself really high expectations and I haven’t really achieved them … then I
get down on myself and worry even more.”
Michael, who missed selection in the Australia Post Queensland U16 side in 2009,
has come a long way in a short space of time.
After moving to Brisbane last year and enjoying a stellar fi rst season with Redland
that included a standout role with the Australia Post Queensland U18 side and
selection into the 2010 AIS/AFL Academy he went into 2011 as one of the State’s
brightest prospects.
He did pre-season training with the Gold Coast Suns where he relished the chance
to work alongside full-time professionals.
“It was sensational – I loved being able to go over to a Nathan Bock and do some
work with him, or whoever. It was great to be in such an organized program and I
felt I really improved a lot in that short time,” he said.
Later, he toured Europe with the Academy squad alongside Bombers clubmate
Alex Sexton and Morningside’s Brian Coleman-Broome before a mixed campaign
with the Scorpions in the NAB Australian U18 Championships.
He’s seen little club football in such a busy year, and has played just three NEAFL games - for the Suns Reserves against NT
Thunder in Cairns in Round 16, and for Redland against Tuggeranong in Canberra in Round 17 and Mt.Gravatt at Victoria Point
in Round 19.
His effort against Mt.Gravatt last Saturday was outstanding and was rewarded with a nomination for the NAB NEAFL Rising
Star Award (Northern Conference).
Even opposition coach David Lake was impressed with the Bombers’ No.1 ruckman.
“He was absolutely exceptional,” said Lake. “Ryan Head is no slouch and Matty Skubis has a real crack but he (Michael) was
getting around the ground and giving us some real trouble.
“He was mobile, he was willing and he was clean, and he must have taken at least a dozen contested marks.
“I thought he was their best player and if you were an AFL recruiter the tape of his game would be an absolute must see.”
Michael’s game against the Vultures replicated his best afi eld effort for the Scorpions in their breakthrough win over the NT
Thunder in the U18 championships. He played in the ruck that day, too, after spending time in key defence and key forward
roles earlier in the U18 campaign.
NEAFL Football Record Issue18 13th - 14 th August 2011 Page 8

“I think for now ruck is my best spot because it frees me up more and allows me to play more to my strengths,” said the everpersonable
Michael, who was also a standout in cricket, basketball and cross country as a junior.
Down the track, though, he insists at 196cm he’s not going to be big enough to be a No.1 ruckman in the AFL. He’s more like
Collingwood’s Leigh Brown, who is fi lling a key role with the premiership favorites as a mobile marking forward and back-up
ruckman.
“But right now I’m not even thinking about that. I know I’ve still got a lot of work to do and I’m just trying to play well every
chance I get for the rest of the season,” he said.
“Last Saturday I didn’t worry too much about things – I just went out and played and it worked out OK. The ball just seems to
fi nd me,” he said.
“And I ate baked beans before the game – just as I did before the U18 game against the NT. That might be the secret,” he
added with a grin.
Regardless of what is the secret, Michael will fi nd it, according to Redland club development manager Craig Millar, because
he’s just so thorough.
“Honestly, his preparation is more professional than any other kid I’ve ever seen,”
said the highly-respected Millar.
“He is just so meticulous and is always looking for ways to get better. You’d think he’d
already had fi ve years in the AFL.”
Examples? Millar didn’t hesitate, pointing to Michael’s post-game ritual of immediately
pulling out a couple of small tins of tuna to restock his protein levels and aid his
recovery. Or doing as many as fi ve ice bath plunges when he’s only told to do one or
two.
“Last week I had to say to him “look, here are the keys, will you make sure you lock
up – I’ve got to get over to the after-match,” Millar said.
“A lot of kids will always look for a short-cut but he leaves absolutely nothing to
chance. Sometimes you’ve got to pull him up because he’ll want to do too much.”
Millar says Michael’s weekly training routine is “exceptional” and was delighted to
see his preparation fi nally rewarded with a powerhouse on-fi eld performance.
“He was right back to the form he showed 12 months ago. He was strong and aggressive,
his ruck work was superb, he used the ball well, and he took a couple of
clunking marks. Two marks he took in front of Gavin Grose I just went ‘wow’. It was
really outstanding.”
Michael, already invited to the AFL’s State Screening day in Melbourne ahead of the NAB AFL National Draft in November, is
the third Redland player nomination for the Rising Star Award behind Sexton, who was chosen when playing for the Suns Reserves,
and Trent Manzone.
Others in contention for this prestigious award are Mt.Gravatt’s Daniel Mowat and Nathan Reid, Morningside’s Peter Mollison,
Tom Bell and Peter Yagmoor, Aspley’s Michael Hutchinson, Brendan Colch and Adam Hughes, NT Thunder’s Jed Anderson
and Ross Tangatalum, the Brisbane Lions’ Richard Newell, Broadbeach’s Kallen Geary and Luke Shreeve and Labrador’s Jake
Goldsmith.
TON OF MEMORIES FOR DERRICK
By Ron McDonald
Ultra-consistent Broadbeach half-back Jesse Derrick played the 100th and most memorable game of his NEAFL/QAFL career
last weekend.
In fact, the games that have given him the biggest buzz of his State League career have been the most recent.
“I was asked by our fi tness trainer before the NT game (two weeks ago) ‘of your 99 games, which one stands out?’ and I
couldn’t think of one,” Derrick said.
“Afterwards I said ‘there you go, that’s probably it’. Then after what happened last week (against the Gold Coast Suns Reserves),
that’s defi nitely up there.”
Broadbeach won a high class affair with the last two goals of the match to keep their fi nals hopes alive in a do-or-die affair.
“Just being the home ground, the home crowd was very vocal. The club area was going off,” Derrick said. “It was really good.”
A Palm Beach junior and well performed State Under 18, Derrick was a regular QAFL Rising Star nominee before he turned 21.
Still only 22, he has been a model of consistency through his nearly six seasons at senior level.
Runner-up best and fairest behind the brilliant Dayne Zorko last season, he fi nished third in 2007 and 2008, and fourth in 2009
in club champion voting.
Derrick’s durability has also been a huge asset to the Cats, having played his last 99 games in succession.
He is the fourth Cat behind Korey Fulton, Ben Tindall and Ben Walters to play 100 State League games for the blue and whites.
Not that he treated the milestone as anything special beforehand.
“Not really, I thought it was just another game,” he said. “I was more concerned with getting a win and keeping our season
alive.”
The Cats were on the verge of oblivion a month ago but have made an inspired charge at the fi nals with close wins over the
Brisbane Lions Reserves, Thunder and Suns.
NEAFL Football Record Issue18 13th - 14 th August 2011 Page 10

“Everyone wrote us off for three weeks. It’s good to silence a few of the people who didn’t give us a chance,” Derrick said.
He put down the Cats’ resurgence down to a genuine chemistry within the group.
“Everyone put in a good pre-season and we’ve got a real close group this year,” he said. “When we play our best footy we can
beat everyone.”
Derrick played fi nals in his fi rst season but the Cats were eliminated in
straight games after fi nishing second and looking a genuine premiership
threat. He believes the current group is more than capable of fi nishing in the
top five.
“Without a doubt,” he said. “We’ve had a core of this group together for three
to fi ve years and everyone knows what’s required.”
The Cats must get past the Tigers on Sunday to keep the dream alive.
“We have got a pretty good history against them at home,” Derrick said. “They
played in the grand final last year and they’ve got some quality players coming
back. But we can take a lot out of the last three games.”
Asked to name the most influential players he had been involved with at the
Cats, Derrick nominated four familiar names.
“Ben Walters taught me the ropes, James Drake, Korey Fulton obviously is a
legend of the club, and Dayne Zorko – those four stand out,” he said.
There have been plenty of changes in Derrick’s short time at the senior level,
with clubs coming and going and the QAFL morphing into the NEAFL.
“The competition has defi nitely got better,” he said. “Back then there were a
lot of fl oggings, 20 and 30 goals, week-in, week-out. Now it has stepped up a
lot more, with a lot of ex-AFL players and good kids running around.”
DEVINE EQUALS CLUB RECORD
By Ron McDonald
Determined Southport utility Adam Devine is on the brink of history, equalling the record for the most number of State League
game by a Sharks player at Aspley this round.
Devine battled through frustrating injury problems early in the year that cost him four
games to reach the 218-game mark today.
He will share the record with Shaun ‘Shakin’ Stephens, another durable, tough utility who
gave everything to the black and whites.
The milestone comes on a huge day for the Sharks, who can maintain their fi nals hopes
with victory over an equally desperate Aspley.
Devine and Stephens are the only two Sharks to have managed 200 games at State
League level, although Zane Taylor compiled 225 games for Southport across the Gold
Coast and State Leagues, while Davey Burns played 238 games in the Gold Coast competition.
If the Sharks can win and Devine gets through unscathed, his record-breaking game will
take on even more consequence at Redland next week in the fi nal qualifying round.
Turning 30 next week, Devine has played a number of roles through a career that has
reaped three premierships.
He was the competition’s best tagger for a number of years through the mid-2000s, but
can play equally well in defence or at half-forward.
MILESTONE FOR JARRED ILETT
By Ron McDonald
The man who led the way for the Northern Territory Thunder in their fi rst two seasons celebrates his 50th game for the club in
the blockbuster top-of-the-table clash against Mt Gravatt in Darwin tonight.
Jarred Ilett was inspirational in the way that he bonded the fledgling side in 2009, and was so good individually that he started
as one of the favourites for the Grogan Medal.
He was not successful, but a panel of independent judges were impressed enough to install
the ‘newcomer’ as captain of the QAFL Team of the Year in that memorable fi rst season.
Ilett fi nished a close second behind brother Cameron in the Thunder best and fairest voting,
and was eighth last year despite battling injury through much of the season.
The Iletts can take enormous credit for the evolution of the Thunder into a genuine premiership
threat in a short period of time and both have the happy knack of doing their best work
in a crisis when the team needs them the most.
Jarred sits third on the list of games played by men wearing the Thunder jumper, just behind
Cameron (51 games) and full-forward Darren Ewing (52 matches).
A two-time winner of the NTFL’s Nicholls Medal for the best player in the competition and
four-time premiership player with St Mary’s, he is also a one-time member of the Australian
Under 19 basketball team that toured China and South Korea.
Born and bred in Darwin, the 29-year-old works as a fireman. If his side can douse the challenge
of a fi red-up Mt Gravatt, there will be greater milestones ahead, starting with a likely
home second semi-fi nal.
