The insert module is assembled into the rear of the
shell by hand.
Rear shell view
1 Lir.e up the orientation key of the insert module with
the shell cavity keyway.
2 Offer the insert module into the shell cavity.
3 Push the insert module squarely into the shell until the
retention clips engage.
4 Ensure that the insert module is fully retained by
applying slight pressure to the front face.
Shell
Use extraction tool 282 521.
1 Position the tines of the tool into the two grooves of the
insert module.
2 Insert the tool as far as it will go to release retention
clips.
3 From the mating face, push insert module with fingers
un~il insert module moves back slightly.
4 Remove tool from shell, leaving insert module partially
extracted .
5 Push insert module from the mating face completely
out of the rear of the shell.
