Rear shell view<br />

1 Slide the nuts and braid clamp onto the cable.<br />

Be careful : the backshe/1 can only be mounted one<br />

way round, so ensure that cables are located in correct<br />

cavity A or B.<br />

2 Feed the cable through the outlet of the backshell.<br />

3 Strip and terminate the cable.<br />

4 Fit the contacts into the insert module.<br />

5 Install the insert module into the connector shell.<br />

6 Apply some thread lock onto the accessory thread of<br />

the connector shell.<br />

7 Mount the backshell onto the rear of the connector.<br />

Ensure that the locking screw is correctly position ned<br />

on the polarizing key accessory thread.<br />

8 Screw and tighten the locking screw with the spigot<br />

wrench.<br />

9 Equally distribute the ends of the braids into the slots<br />

of the threaded collar.<br />

10 Position the nuts.<br />

11 Align the four lugs of the nut into the four slot of threaded<br />

collar.<br />

12 Screw and tighten nuts.<br />
