A range of size 12 and 16 contacts have been specially developed for fibre optic termination. These contacts are designed to align silica/silica multimode fibre (125 and 140 microns) or HCS type (200 or 400 microns). They can be fitted into the standard insert modules of the EPX series. CHARACTERISTICS : - Interchangeable with electrical contact. - Low insertion loss: 0.7 dB typ. - Quick and easy termination technique (bonding/polishing). - Removable. - Use same extraction tool as standard contacts. -Wide temperature range: -55°C +125°C - High precision ferrule.
