iSkin: Stretchable On-Body Touch Sensors for Mobile
Computing
This demo presents iSkin, a stretchable
and visually customizable sensor body, including the finger, the back of the
worn on various locations on the human
that capture touch input on the human hand, and the ear. Each sensor overlay
body for mobile computing. iSkin is a supports single and multiple touch areas,
thin skin-worn sensor overlay, made of which can be arranged to more complex
biocompatible materials. The sensor can multi-touch widgets. Together, these attributes
allow for novel device concepts that
be produced in different shapes and sizes
and is visually customizable to account for support fast and direct on-body input for
the user’s aesthetic preferences. It can be mobile computing.
A Voice Driven Type Design Demo
With voice driven type design (VDTD), we lity and to gain additional value in written
introduce a novel concept to present written
information in the digital age. While providing meta-information in subtitles
text, which offers different applications –
the shape of a single typographic character
has been treated as an unchangeable impaired people, illustrating intonation
and chats, supporting deaf and hearing
property until today, we present an innovative
method to adjust the shape of each learners – up to artistic expression. In this
and accentuation in books for language
single character according to particular paper we describe the demo system as
acoustic features in the spoken reference. demonstrated at the conference Mensch
Thereby, we allow to keep some individua-
