THE HORSEPLAYERS JOURNAL
1 MY MY HEY HEY made a break in his latest but still managed to win by open lengths in 1:55.3. The Wallace pupil re-qualified cleanly with a
winning effort and will take a hike up in class off that. The 3yo is certainly a risk and should offer a short price but he’s tough to overlook after his
most recent. I will tab the talented gelding and hope that his gait will improve with experience.
3 LADY PING made a miscue in her latest which is something she’s not had happen often. She’s been picking up some good cheques racing in the
OSS and should find this group to be easier. The Henriksen charge has done well at this level in the past and should figure in as a top contender
from the inside. I see her rebounding for a share of the ticket.
4 ONLY MY WAY raced better in his second try at this level last time with a solid push for 4 th . The Conway Hall sophomore has just 4 races to his
credit this year and could be just rounding into top form. A better beginning would likely benefit his chances and I believe his best is yet to come. I
will peg him for the Triactor.
2 CENTURY BEHEMOTH earned cheques in his last two at this level and will try to keep that trend up from the inside. The Baillargeon stable is
coming off a strong week and has enjoyed a productive summer this year. This guy has good tracking ability and can be in play for the exotics if he
saves some ground along the pylons.
WORTH A LOOK
(5) LOVE HUNTER travelled to Sarnia in his latest to compete in a Grassroots event where he suffered a parked out journey. His form had been
solid in his previous WEG outings and can contend at the higher level if that keeps up.
(7) NOBLE POWER remains winless during his sophomore campaign but he’s been hurt by some poor starting posts. The draw is a little better
tonight and he has the late closing ability to get up for a minor share.
(10) ACCENTURE HANOVER finds himself in a tough starting spot this week but he’s been aggressive early on and might get away decently. The
MacDonell student has the talent to challenge for the Superfecta.
