ZAO DB Development was created by
Deutsche Bank Group and the Austrian
construction concern STRABAG for the realization
of development and infrastructure
projects in Russia, the CIS and Baltic countries.
The company’s main areas of activity
include fee-development, organizing and
structuring project financing, consulting,
monitoring of construction projects and
management services.
Among the company’s largest projects
are a communal-residential complex totaling
121,000 sq m located along Podushkinsky
Highway in the village of Barvikha, where
DB Development is acting as agent in securing
project financing, a construction project
on a micro-district in Omsk (together with
MIEL), as well as a project to build a highstory
business class complex in the city of
Anapa.
Dmitry Garkusha’s professional achievements
in 2008 include a partnership with
Deutsche Bank and STRABAG in creating
the joint company DB Development, and the
signing in December of 2008 – in the very
throes of the crisis – of a contract to secure
financing for a major developer.
