Regarding natural gas production, the International Energy Agency projects a steadily growing trend for<br />

Venezuela, with compound annual growth of 4.55 percent, showing a considerable acceleration from 2025<br />

and a slowdown in growth in 2030.<br />

Despite the positive forecasts for Venezuelan production, Brazil stands out for its sharp rise beginning 2015,<br />

reaching a compound annual rate of 7.28 percent on a sustained basis throughout the estimated timeframe.<br />

In contrast, Argentina has a less favorable performance, with an annual rate of 1.82 percent.<br />

At the continental level, there is a growing trend of 1.13 percent in U.S. crude oil production due to shale gas<br />

developments. Meanwhile, Latin America shows higher growth (2.36 percent), but starting from lower levels.<br />

Canada, despite starting with production levels similar to those in Latin America, shows a lower growth rate<br />

of 0.65 percent compounded annually.<br />
