Chanters
We have survived Thanksgiving and
Christmas and New Year’s activities and
parties. Hopefully everyone had a Merry
Christmas and is ready for the New Year.
We celebrated the New Year with a
brunch on New Year’s Day at the Osman
Shrine Center/Lost Spur. Chanters all
showed up and had a great time with
fellowship, food, champagne, and all the
other things that go with that kind of
celebration.
Our Chanter Christmas party was a lot
of fun. Everyone looked so nice in party
wear. We had installation for the new
officers, Jeff Keehn, President, Glen

They’re proud of their guys
Parades, meetings and all
As Shriners, Chanters deserve
To stand really tall!

Our Potentate and
Divan Rep. were there
along with the Chief
Rabban from Zor
Temple in Madison,
Wisconsin, Larry
Riemenschneider and
his Lady. We were
pleased to see them all.
At the last Stated
Meeting, one of our
members, Gordon Eddy,
received an award for
being a 60-year member
of Osman. Gordon has
also been a member of
the Chanters for 60
years! He does not need
music to sing most of
Jeff Keehn “helps” John

and sings
away with
gusto. What a
guy! (And as
a small
person, he
surely can
eat!) He
talked about a
trip he took
with Osman
to the

congratulates Gordon Eddy
on his 60 years as a Shriner.
Imperial. It was about two weeks long,
and the best part was that Osman paid for
the whole trip for everyone.
